Is your question "will the suspension take an 8' snow plow", "will my 2wd hold up the weight of a 350" or "can I put in a 383 and 44's without blowing the crappy little axle"?

no, yes, and no.
2wd will handle some extra weight OK. 4wd will not survive high torque (like SBC and big tires) with its little 7 5/8 ring gear. And the torsion bars will not stand up to the weight of a big plow.

Samll tires on a 4wd, ok. 2wd, ok. 6 1/2' plastic plow on 4wd, marginal but OK for light use (like pulling corner snow out into the lot for the big trucks).
