Mechanics about same as standard trucks. All sizes are in the shop manuals and Assembly manuals for that year or close. Most parts vendors for old trucks have those. www.stovebolt.com has a forum called Big Bolts that is good place. Vendors have links at same site. Biggest thing on Semi's was frame mount gas tanks, and bigger radiators with o/flow tanks. Big tires/wheels. Rest of drivetrain and cab is same as smaller trucks. BUT, the front fenders and grill/hood are also bigger.
