Im a 14 year old kid that purchased a 1952 ford F-1 last summer as a project to learn off of and to be my high school hot rod, I bought the truck from our garbage man in july last summer for 1700 bucks and have so far installed a power discs in front and refurbushed the drums out back. I also put in a painless wiring kit (which wasn't painless) new copper radiator with an electic fan,plu alot of litte things. The drivetrain setup is a chevy 350 and a th350 auto trans. which i guess was put in in the late 70's considering the truck sat for 15 years. Idid get it running after a goog gas tank cleaning and some fresh gas(and ofcorse i had to lay my first black stripes 5 minutes later)But because it is a hot rod project that i have 2 years to work on i would like some input on some cool ideas. I do have access to an auto lift, all the right tools, paint booth, people with alot of experiance and tons of spare time. so any ideas will do. So far i have in mind a blown 454(in my dreams) a 4 to 5 inch chop Shorten the bed by the cab 10 inches, Exhaust pipes out the back fenders (like on one of my dads hotrods) 55 caddy front bumper, flat blue paint and a bunch of other little things. Again ideas and help in the future are appreciated.thanks
