That is an amazing conversion. What mileage was that in town? 18 if you kept your foot out of it? Thanks for that information, was that a eddlebrock? How long did it take you? Do you have disc on the front?; to slow down? I'm ready to finally convert my front drums to disc. Have you got disc brakes on your 69'? I next steps are to remove the body, frame, primer paint, sandblast frame reseal. It would last another 30yrs, if there's any oil left then that is! Love fixin up the old trucks, nothin' better then a aspirated vehicle, less problems to deal with. I'm only running the accel dual ignition with power pack, and ceramic coated headers. No heat in the engine bay, very cool, even when you open the motor to work on it. Just the block is hot, the heat on the headers dissipate the heat, and they are heavy gage. I'll try an post a pic next time i'm down working on it. Peace.
