Check out the same year and model school bus for the mandated dual brake system.
Some years ago I helped my cousin rebuild an old U haul Truck. It was a 70 Ford 600 that another fellow scavenged almost all parts off it to rebuild several other trucks, so it was just a rust free cab and frame. He bought a cheap Ford school bus a few years newer and swapped all driveline including Both axles and brakes. We reused the single line setup from the original truck. converting from dual system to single was just bolting on the correct booster/boosters and brake lines. The dual wheel cylinders on each wheel were the same for single or dual system.
