YES,the threads on the top of the float bowl where the inlet valve needle and seat screw in is what got stripped. The part can be removed ( 3 or 4 bolts) and you can see the float bowl in it. Which vehicle ( year /model) should I look for in order to find a carburetor that would have that part? I live in Houston and there are several junk yards here but I do not know in which vehicles to begin looking. Thank you very much for your help and god bless.
