I have converted 2 older gas pick-ups to the 6.2 diesel The 1968 GMC I done was a bit of a challange becauce the pick-up had a 6 cylinder in it so I had to move the trany up and get a diffrent drive shaft. The 1975 Chevy my father and I done was much simpler because it had a 350 and the motor mounts are the same. The only thing is you haft to have a 6.2 fly wheel and tourque converter or thing won't work . Another thing is the glow plugs the two we have are on push butons, but you haft to be careful or you will burn them up , you could go to a junk yard and get a 6.2 wiring harness
