At the mill I work at,we use Mobil Delvac 15-40 in all of our heavy equipment.We never had any engine failure due to lubrication that I know of.I run Delvac 1 in my Dodge Cummins all year around and never had any problems either.If you go with synthetics,don't exceed the manufacture's maximum mileage between oil changes.BTW,the oil is changed every 250 hours in all mill equipment.
