I have a 48 & the ser # is on the left door post the engine # is on the right side of engine beside Dist. & they are not the same my ser # is like 9RWLXXXX & engine # like FEA800434 . Some times # is hard to read as it was hand stamped at Factory , also the tag has two STD screws that hold it on Make sure you change to tamper prof type as if someone needs a # plate yours might be the one .
