Re: Ford Model A pickup - What's its Value?Posted by Jerry S on August 22, 2002 at 13:52:26 from (63.71.59.98): In Reply to: Ford Model A pickup - What's its Value? posted by John on August 22, 2002 at 13:27:13:
I have seen parts bring more than they would if they were on a running unit sold together. There were most of a parts car or truck that brought around $1000 at a sale 4 years ago. I saw a running one bring 3800 which I thought was cheap for a nice looking one. You might look in the ads for a Hemmings motor news and you can tell right away what the going rate is for them. If I had the money, I would think I could go 1500-2000 and not feel bad at all. I don't have one but I think the A's had an electric starter but could be crank started. By the time you get the motor unstuck, you would know for sure. Park on a good size hilltop and you can start without the starter or handcrank.
