F-250 head gasket

Got a 1989 F-250 w/5.8 EFI (thats electronic fuel injection) don't want to do it, but its going to need a head gasket on the passenger side. What am I in for??? Has anyone ever done one out there?? Advice? Pointers? Sympathy??? Anybody want to earn a couple of cases of beer??
