I've been watching Model A 's value lately,,, and would say you're right, 1,000 to 1,500 in this condition. Model A's had electric start, starter button (rod actuated) on the floor by gas pedal, two position ignition switch, on/off, pull the plugs, inspect with flashlight, should tell you how stuck it is. There should be a crank with it, they aren't too bad to crank by hand, just fold your thumb over, out of the way. And running/complete ones seem to start at 3,000 - 5000. oh yes, they're six volt, or were. john in nebraska
