Quick question,
Is the ref. oil that is now used in R134 compatable with R12 and acceptable? I am installing a under dash unit on my old truck. I am going to use R12 as I have it on hand . The compressor is a good used unit,(R12) but everything else is N.O.S.(new old stock)
I'm thinking,If down the road I have to use the R 134 I wouldn't have the hassle of changing the oil. Thanks in advance Geo.
