6.2 diesel in 66 chevy 1 ton

Hello,
Anybody ever put a 6.2 in one of these old trucks? I use this truck a lot and 8mpg is breaking me up. Im thinkin about a 6.2 or a non turbo 6.5. I have considerable exper. with these eng.so please don't tell me that they're junk. I can get the eng bolted in ok and wiring is no problem. I just need ideas on clutch linkage, engine oil cooler, and any other little problems I might run into. Also I would consider a perkins, isuzu, or other small diesel if it could be done without breaking the bank. Any advice or comments will be appreciated. Thanks,Mike
