A good driveshaft shop should be able to make a new shaft 4 inches longer without a problem. They could use new ends, yolk or splined shaft, or your old ends, and weld them to a new tube 4 inches longer. I would probably measure from the rearend to the transmission with the old engine and transmission and then measure with the new engine and transmission and make the new shaft longer or shorter by the difference in the two measurements.
