Tersa, To remove a complete grill assembly from the 60/66 series pickups, thhere are 3 bolts/side on these picks. Get someone to hold the grill in place while you get up, under the fender and remove the 6 bolts. The whole thing will fall forward. OBTW, remove the beautyrings, then the headlights First!!!
Now on your work bench set the grill face down. you will see that the mounting brackets are affixed to the main grill by 3 or 4 poprivits or screws. You can have your original grill chromed or use the 64 series that you have
I can talk you through it easier than I can type If you want Hollar at me sometime and I can tell you more, you have the main jest of it here, I grew up on a 66, That is why I know this stuff. My # is 512-577-3837.
