First the questions:
Do I use fuel line hose from the the cooling tube/return line to the PS pump or a special hose suitable for PS fluid?

I need to make a small repair on the pump body. I accidently cut off a small piece of material from the hose nipple and need to cement it back if possible.
Is it made of ABS or something else?

Well, I found on ebay a NOS balancer for the 460. The defective old one came off easly using a steering wheel puller after removing the bolt and washer. The bolt is torqued to 50-70 ftlbs, but it seemed a lot more was required to remove it. The outer ring had moved about 1/4" toward the engine. Having the balancer off, I power washed the area, but the next day there was oil on the frame from the power steering cooling line hose. The hose had been ground out in one spot next to the pump so it could turn sharper to meet the tubing.

I also noticed a crack in one of the fuel line hoses and where it ran close to the exhaust manifold it looked bad. Removing the 3/8" hose, I bent it at the bad spot and it cracked open like an egg. A nice fire hazard 2 inches from the hot manifold. I also removed the other fuel line hose to find it was a 3/8" hose on a 5/16" tube.
Any guesses as to what else I'll find?
