72-74 Dodge pickup

OK i dont want to sound too much like a fool but im looking for a 72-74 dodge adventurer pickup . Why im posting here is becuase my dad has his 72 318 4 speed that i pretty much learned to drive in and love it still today. But it was used as a push truck to push start dirt track sprint cars and its gotten tired. The motor is near dead, the frame is cracking in places, the body will fall of if you lean on it.

Anyways, i wanted to know if a 318 4 speed would ever have a short bed body and if so, what would be the best way to find one? Ive been looking for some time now, and i dont know how to sort though it all, warlocks and w 150's ect. i dont know what it all is.
