First, good luck with your truck. The 67-72 Chevrolet and GMC trucks are nice. Get a few catalogs, for parts, try www.lmctruck.com, for a free catalog. Every part is available for these trucks, but the prices add up. Leaf springs and coil springs are both good. As said before, the custom campers in the Chevrolets came with the leaf springs, and dana rear. With GMC they had leaf springs. Again, good luck.
