I had a friend in college that had one, it was in the early eighties and his parents had bought it new. From memory I thought the beds were closer to 9 feet. For those who have never seen one Chevy used the sides from a normal long bed and bolted extensions to the front where the bulkhead would normally bolt to. Just out of curiosity do you know if the wheelbase is the same as the short version of the C-30 cab and chasis? I faintly remember seeing one on e-bay a few months back.
