Do you know how many V-6's were built in their production run Andy?? I know they built them up to '78, but I don't know when they started. They didn't sell well around here, I only heard about one other than mine and that was sold years ago....the local city road crews had one in a GMC dump truck. My uncle told me that the young guys that worked part time in the summer tried to blow it up...but they could never get it to go, unlike the 350's in their pick-ups. Since all their other trucks were 350 equiped they couldn't see stocking separate parts so it was sold. I wish I could find another V-6, either a 305 or 351 to put in a '71 Chevy 3/4 ton that I may buy...heck, I could sell the 350 in it now and that would probably pay for the truck!
