Flow Master Muffler copies.

I went to the All Ford National Show at Carlisle Pa last week end. (Wonderful time!) --There was a guy there from "Past 2 Present" car and truck parts in Connellsville PA selling "copies" of Flow Master Mufflers. He said that they were exact copies, baffles all the same, materials just as heavy, all welded construction, and would sound just the same. They did look exactly the same. Real Flow Masters cost $65, his Copies (made in China) were $25. -----I bought a set.------I just finished putting them on my 74 F-100, 302. --I already have a set of "real" Flow Masters on my 91 F 150, 302. -The only difference should be that the 74 does not have cats. Plus my 91 has headers. ----The copies are nice, but they don't sound the same. I like them, but I like my 91 better. The 74 does sound better on rev down, probably because of no cats. It doesn't have the in cab nice sound that the 91 has. -----But in any event, I think the "copies" of Flow Masters are certainly a good deal for the price, and they do have a nice sound. -----If anyone would find themselves interested in getting some just give me an "E" mail, I'll give you the guys phone number. He doesn't give an "E" mail address or website. I won't actually post it here because of the rules against solicitation.
