I don't know anything about Chevys but I have seen a few guys with old Fords use the powersteering box from a Toyota pickup. The one problem with doing this is you have to have hoses made up to mate the American steering pumps to the Japanese box, which I don't think is too big a deal.

Just a suggestion to where to look.
