Chelsea PTO Won't Start 89 Ford F700

Hello,

Hoping someone can help me out here. Have 89 Ford F700 Boom Truck, yesterday when pushing stabilizers up I heard a loud boom (like a hose blowing) but no hose blew...now pto won't engage. Have a small owner's manual which does not help at all. Need truck on a job today... if anyone can help me out here I'd greatly appreciate it.
