'83 Chevy Help

I am looking for parts to fix up an '83 1/2T 4x4. I was told it has a crate 350 motor w/ less then 50K on it. I am looking to rebuild the carb to get a little more performance out of the motor. It's a M4ME or M4MV quadra-jet. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to spend $400 on a new edelbrock.
I am also looking for suggestions on the easiest way to throw true dual exhaust on this truck. Any ideas?
