Looked at it a little last night. I had replaced the coil with a new 12V version when I did the conversion. Coil is wired with + to ignition switch and - to ground on distributor/points. I am pretty certain I put in new points and condenser but didn't pop the cap off last night to verify. With test light and ignition switch in run position, I have power at the + side of coil. There is something that looks like a relay or something mounted on firewall on passenger side up toward the top and about a foot above the starter solenoid(also mounted on firewall). Three wires coming out the bottom of this. Two are 12 gauge colored yellow and one is 16 gauge and colored blue. The 16 ga. and 12 ga. closest to it are hot with the switch on but not the other 12 ga. Both 12 ga. wires go to hot side of starter solenoid and 16 ga. wire goes into harness leading into cab. Description is steel cased, rectangular approx. 2"x2"x3/4". Is this a resistor? If not, I am at a loss to find a resistor. Maybe it is just the points/condenser that are cooked.
