This is good information, not only for better steering but for a common problem many of have; steering wheel swell. I, along with many others, have noticed over the years our steering wheels swell, leaving less room to slide in behind the steering wheel. Replacing the stock wheel with a smaller one should help with this problem. I seriously believe moisture must permeate the material in the steering wheel and makes it swell. I don't know any other reason the room behind the wheel would diminish over the ;)
