You got lucky, every time anyone even gets close to anything I have that looks nice, there is a new dent or scratch.
To remove the rubbed on paint, get some rubbing compound. Follow the directions on the can.
Once you are done with that, your best bet would to polish and then wax.
Don't use a buffer...use a rag and your finger.
