Always demand for clean straight big block trucks. Short beds the most, longhorns because they are rare, then long beds. As soon as you cut it the value goes down to restorers. At some point in the mods the value will increase to custom guys.
Small mods (like cam, intake, headers, etc) and keeping the old parts is OK. Then you reap the benefits of the mods without losing the value to a restorer.
