Not sure on the Loadstars, but on the pickups there was a change in the door latches and strikers between '66 and '68. I put a door from a '68 on a '66, and the latch and striker were different...and the '68 striker even had a different mounting hole pattern from the '66, so it wasn't a direct interchange, even though the basic door/cab were pretty much identical. I'd imagine the same thing happened about the same time on the Loadstars, but I can't say for sure.

Ask the guys on the Loadstar forum at www.oldihc.org ...they should know.
