In 1955 GMC used Pontiac engines in the pickups and Olds engines in the bigger trucks..if your truck is a pickup and has the original engine, it will be a 288 cubic inch Pontiac, if it's the bigger truck it has a 324 olds engine...don't have any idea on the value...
