Randy when I said Pontiac and Olds engines were used in the GMC trucks I meant v8...I thought it's a v8 because you said a 350 or 370...The 6 cylinder is another story..The most common GMC 6 cylinder inline was 248, 270, and 302 and I think some more less common....They are not like the 235 or 261 chevy...Infact the 270 and 302 GMC engines were a favorite of the Chevy hot rodders in years past...A company named Wayne made a special 12 port head for these engines for racing in the 40's and 50's...
