Ford 360 electronic distributor

I can't seem to get my 74 ford F-250 to start. Turns over good, has gas in it and new fuel filter. I checked for spark and there is none. When cranking it to start, just as you are to let go of the key it fires, only once. It won't run. I changed the brain box and still no fire. Power to the coil as well. I'm trying to change the electronic inside the distributor. Removed the shaft but can't see how to get the electronic part out. Removed the star wheel and still can't see how it comes out. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.
