They handeled it by dropping the compression and putting in a small cam. That lowered the torque peak somewhere in the upper 20's. This engine has the rail type rocker arms. With those the top of the valve is maybe 3/8 inch higher than most valves so that it sticks up between the rails on the rocker. ----I'm guessing, but just guessing, that the high valve stems would make changing cams difficult. I doube that any other rocker arms would work with the high valves. If I thought they would, I'd go to a bit higher rocker arm ratio to give a larger charge to the cylinder and see what happens. ---In any event, I'll keep asking around until I find out a bit more about the engine. ----Thanks for your input!
