Sounds like a short. The blown fuse might be an indication of a short. There could be chaffed wires. There could be rodents that chewed the wires. It could have been miswired at some time. Old switches can cause problems, too. I had a lot of trouble with fuses and bad wiring, then I went to the junk yard and found a better harness to go from the firewall plug to the back of the truck, I fastened it up real good, I soldered all splices, And I put in all Truck Lite LED lights. I replaced incadescent bulbs with LED bulbs. The current draw was a a lot less, and it hasn't blown a fuse in years. The LED bulbs were Jamstraight from Auto Zone. NAPA sells Truck Lite. The best place to start checking is right from the start. By the way, the turn signals shouldn't be connected to the clearance lights except at the front marker, which grounds the marker through the turn signal, that's how they flash the side marker. It's illegal to flash red on the side, so they don't flash the rear side marker.
