Full Headers are most always very close. Tight fit. Sandersonheaders.com prides themselves on having the fit down to the last needed "dimple" in the pipes. They would be a real good source to contact.

BTW, Shortie headers will hook right up to your present exhaust pipes at the back of the current manifold. --There's a bit of disagreement among folks out there about the effect of shorties vs long tubes. Some say that shorties are just glorified manifolds, but Sanderson Headers says the results of extensive testing shows, that when used on a street vehicle with mufflers, the shorties actually produce the most low end torque.
I put a set on a 91 Ford F150, 302, and they seemed to give low end a good boost. Then I've recently put a set of long tubes on a 74, F100. They were really difficult to get down past the starter and clear the front cross member. I actually had to take a pry bar and spring them a bit. --The two engines can't really be compared, but it doesn't "feel" (not a good measurement) like the long tubes done to the 74 what shorties done to my 91.---------The upshot::: If you can get shorties I think you would be real satisfied with the results and would save yourself what could be alot of head ackes putting them on. Just my opinion.
