Following Crusin' the Coast this past week on MS Coast, I'm motivated to try to find my dad's old 1966 Chevy C10 pickup. It was a great truck that belonged to my grandpa, then my dad. It would be awesome to find the actual vehicle, though I've hit a roadblock. My dad and grandpa are now deceased so I don't have them to ask; however, my sisters remeber that it was sold to a fella that brought it back by the house months later (20 years ago) and it had been painted - this gives me hope that it may still exist and is not a pile of rust in a field somewhere. A friend at the tax office was able to get the registration for me so I have the VIN (c1446a141918), but can't find a way to search on the internet -not 17 digits. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. The truck was originally owned by Gulf Oil, was blue with orange on the wheel panels. It was located in south mississippi. Thanks.
