I have been looking for an auxillary transmssion for the Chevy 2
ton I am going to restore. I want to be able to run down the
highway at a decent pace. It looks like a spicer 5831 B, C, or D will
do it. They seem to be hard to find. The ones I keep seeing are on
the east coast the shipping would be quite high for the tranny,
drive shafts, brackets, and linkage. If anyone has a better idea for
improving the top speed, or knows where I can find the auxillary,
let me know.
