Two things to check, did they sell you the correct starter relay and is it wired correctly ?

If you look at the starter relay in bob's diagram, you will see that one side of the relay coil connects to the big battery post stud marked BAT on the relay case, while the other end of the coil connects to ground through the starter button.
The type of relay that connects the terminal to ground to activate it has one of the large cable studs marked BAT. The cable from the battery MUST be connected to the relay stud marked BAT. If you have the battery and starter cables reversed at the relay, with the starter cable connected to the relay stud bolt marked BAT, then you will get a no crank situation like your having.
