Today I needed to do something that I could understand. I pulled the radiator and the upper hoses and thermostats. Flushed out the block, both sides, flushed out the heater core and the heater hoses, and flushed out the radiator, all surprisingly didn't have too much sedement and flushed clear pretty quickly. I was surprised because of the last time I ran the truck it overheated. There is another thing I need to learn, Can someone tell me about the tube "metal" that comes out from the intake below right of the generator and is shaped like a question mark and drains down under the motor. I think when the motor overheated last time, the fluids came out of it but I'm not positive because I was driving.
