The guy needs a transmission, maybe somebody has one just hanging out. They don't read the classifieds because the trans is just there. Or maybe somebody's buddy has one, well that guy isn't reading the classifieds because he hasn't got anything to sell...
Or maybe somebody knows of a place where he's gotten stuff like that in the past and can help.

If this guy posted a couple times or was rude, or was selling something I can see getting a bit upset, but he ain't hurting nothing.
