Most Chevy dealerships hate to work on older 6.2 diesels...especially the Standyne injector pumps. The engine is fine but the pumps can give you fits...some runs forever and never give problems but there are some out there that we never could fix even after changing out the pump, injectors, and plumbing...very unpredictable. Would start 200 times and then suddenly wouldn't start, especially after sitting overnight. I'd buy a Ford or Dodge diesel...more dependable.
