57 Chevy OD Trans Conversion

I have a 57 Chevy 3/4 ton w/ a 235, 3 speed manual, on the tree. I'd like to convert to a 3 speed OD, preferably a much stronger trans than stock, as I do some heavy towing once in a while. Any suggestions on which tranny to use, and installation hints?
