Well, "shaky" and "vibration" aren't really that detailed...I assume you've jacked up and spun all the wheels, and they're straight, and you've checked the front wheel bearings for slack... Were there any abnormal wear patterns on any of the old tires?? Jacking up changing the feeling makes me think of the driveline ,engine, trans and diff mountings, Have you been underneath, with a good strong light, looking for any evidence any of these mountings may be moving slightly, even tho they look snug? You might also check the archives on, and post on, oldihc.org, in case this is an IH problem others 've dealt with. You might also try to be more detailed about how the shake and the vibration appear and fade: eng speed, road speed, road surface, any unusual sounds, etc. Good luck (everyone loves a mystery, as long as it's someone else's).
