Don"t know if it qualifies as a classic or not,but I"m having a little trouble yet with my 85 Ford diesel glow plugs. I changed the sensor last summer, the relay is new,all the glow plugs check out alright. It starts better than it did,but still nothing like it should. Question is about the plastic wire connectors where they hook on the glow plugs. They are loose as a goose. I cleaned them up with brake cleaner today and it helped a little. I just don"t think I"m getting good enough contact to heat them up enough. Has anybody ever run in to this? I"m thinking about trying to find some different ends that will slide over those spades on the plugs. Anybody done it? Does it help?
