A lot of good suggestions here.
A couple of other things to check.

Check the distributor cap and rotor, both outside and inside for carbon tracking.

Spray the spark plug wires with WD-40. Let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Then fire her up & see if the problem has disappeared.
If it runs better, change the wires as they are breaking down.
