Didn't know where to turn for help. Some of you may be familiar with my problem. At work we have a 1997 F-350 Powerstroke. Clutch started slipping. Took it to the Ford Dealer for an estimate, they looked at it, and said the fly-wheel was out of balance also. We let another shop replace the clutch and he said the fly-wheel "looked good". Now we have a bad vibration some times - not all the time. Shakes sitting still, in gear, out of gear, 65 mph, but not all the time in any of these cases. When shaking while sitting still, you can give it a little rev, and it might smooth out. I'm told this rig has a "dual mass" fly-wheel, that can become unbalanced with wear. Does this sound right? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks, Mitch Sisson
