More for the boy than I. Ran down to the local NAPA store and picked up the much needed brake lines for the D600. Put them in with almost no problems, one could have been 2" longer, but still worked out just fine. But, here's my new dilemma, how in the world does one properly bleed the system. I went and freed up all the bleeders, attached my little rubber hose, dropped the other end in a jar with some fluid in it and proceeded to bleed the brakes. Started with the bleeder on the booster under the cab. Moved to the rear, left side, then right side. On to the front, right, left. For the most part any air that came out was like the fluid was stirred up (real small bubbles and a lot of them). When complete, press the peddle once (all the way to the floor) then again about half peddle. OK....., re-did the bleed process all over again, again same problem as before with peddle. Took it fore a short spin, once on peddle, all way to the floor, truck slows just a little. Second pump, one of two things happened. It would work just as it was spo-s to and stop "or" it would act like I was standing on a rock and the truck wouldn't even slow down. What gives? I was fit to be tied and the boy got an edamucation each time I banged my almost bald and bleeding head on the undercarriage.

I am curious how the bleeding works with the bleeders lower than the slave cylinders. How would one remove the air from the upper slave????

BTW - I think Wrenchman is correct on it being a big block. Was looking at it last night and the intake seems to be to big for a small block. I will look for the numbers as Tiny said, Thanks guys....
