I don't have an old brake shoe catalog handy, but any GOOD parts store should have an old-enough catalog around to tell you the original drum size. 99% of drums in those years were standard inch or half inch size: 10", 10 1/2", 11" and so on. Take the drum to a place that installs brakes and has a drum lathe. They will have a drum micrometer. Have them measure it, and you'll know how bad it is.
