My truck has a 351w engine in it, it's a 89 model fuel injection. It is very sluggish, to the point it only goes about 50 mph, in fourth gear won't even pull itself in fifth gear. The manifolds get very hot, and the exuast pipe from the manifolds have been red they were so hot. Took the converter off did'nt help. What else could cause so much heat in the exuast.The engine temp does not get hot it runs normal.Anything in the computer that could cause this. Any help would be appreciated.ken.
